Battle at Ashley Mills

Scott Plantation is hosting a day of tours of its village and a reenactment of the skirmish at Ashley Mills, which was a prelude to the taking of Little Rock by Union Forces on September 10, 1863. There will be living history booths featuring Civil War medicine and embalming plus a host of others. This would be a great time for kids of all ages to enjoy local Civil War History.
